Professional Yacht Captain

The Professional Yacht Captain, also known as CY PRO, is the certification that enables you to operate recreational vessels with professional authorizations. The authorizations of this certification are several:

  • Operation of vessels up to 24m in length
  • Navigation up to 5 miles
  • Testing with boats and jet skis
  • Operation of rescue boats on beaches
  • Maritime work in ports
  • Transfer of vessels between ports
  • Recreational fishing trips
  • Charters with up to 6 passengers
